Murmures de Rubans is a whisper from another time—soft, strange, and unapologetically feminine. Born from early 2000s nostalgia and the delicate power of girlhood, the brand reimagines Lolita fashion through a modern, ethical lens.

Inspired by the haunted elegance of Vampire Knight and the dreamy melancholy of Loulou de Montmartre, every piece is designed by Louise Hapton, a young French, London-based artist whose work blends memory, rebellion, and tenderness. With roots in visual art and performance, Louise treats fashion as both ritual and refuge—each design a story to be worn.

Our garments feature unique hand-drawn prints, inspired by macabre dolls, torn teddy bears, and the fragile beauty of things once loved too hard. These figures, stitched and fractured, represent the ache of being suspended between childhood innocence and adult complexity. The blood in our motifs is not there to shock—it is there to connect. A thread of shared memory. A quiet, crimson murmur.

Crafted in quality fabrics and committed to slow fashion, Murmures de Rubans offers a thoughtful alternative to fast-paced trends. Our designs are made to be worn, treasured, and passed on—and will be available in a generous range of sizes because softness should never be exclusive.
